About Me

My goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal.

Communication is very important to me. When I accept a new family into my home, I like to be sure that we can share openly any concerns or questions that may arise. I welcome questions, feedback, or discussions of any kind that are oriented towards a positive outcome for the child(ren).

You are encouraged to text, email or call me at any time. If you contact me during the day, please be aware that I may be busy with the children and may not be able to answer you right away. However, I will text, email or call you back as soon as possible.

Upon enrollment, the first month’s fee is due. This is to ensure a spot in the day home is held for your child(ren). If you wish to pay by email transfer, we can arrange to email you an invoice, due on receipt.

My day home is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., with the exception of days off listed in this handbook. When you enroll in my day home I will ask you for specific hours you plan for your child(ren) to attend.

I understand that some parents work early hours, therefore I may be open to alternate care times. Please feel free to discuss your needs with me. Times can be adjusted based on the majority of parent’s needs.
